About Us

Compassionate Care

SaxenaCare was started by Dr. Saxena  because of his passion to help those struggling with addiction. Too often patients struggling with addiction are “written off” as weak minded or morally corrupt

Stigma Reduction

At SaxenaCare Recovery we believe in reducing the stigma surrounding addiction and allowing those in need greater access to these life-saving and life-changing treatments

What is Naltrexone?

Naltrexone is a medication approved for the treatment of alcohol use disorder. It works by blocking the pleasurable effects of alcohol in the brain, reducing the cravings and helping to prevent relapse.

Unline some other medications, Naltrexone doesn’t produce a “high” or cause dependence, so you can focus on your recovery without worrying about feeling sedated or impaired.

At Saxena Care Recovery, we use Naltrexone as part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes counseling and support to help you achieve lasting sobriety.

Benefits of Naltrexone Treatment

Reduced Cravings

Naltrexone helps reduce the urge to drink by blocking the rewarding effects of alcohol, making it easier to focus on recovery.

Support Long-Term Recovery

By decreasing the pleasurable sensations associated with alcohol, Naltrexone can help prevent relapse.

Non Addictive

Naltrexone is not habit-forming, so it won't cause physical dependence or withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it.

Enhances Counseling Effectiveness

When combined with therapy and support programs, Naltrexone can improve the effectiveness of counseling by making it easier to stick to your recovery goals.
